Grantee submission by: Sarah Wodder, President, CEO
How did the funding or non-monetary support you received from the Foundation impact your organization and/or the community?
The Moses Taylor Foundation has been an incredible partner and supporter of Scranton Counseling Center in our efforts to provide the community access to quality mental health care regardless of their ability to pay. The Foundation supported the construction of our beautiful state of the art building in South Scranton, provided funding for a Center-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion training, and helped to fund our implementation of a new electronic medical record system.
Share a quote or anecdotal story from a client or employee of your organization that illustrates the impact of your work.
“Everyone here [at SCC] is absolutely amazing. Especially my coordinator. She has built a phenomenal team that works with my daughter every week. My child has come so far because of the love and dedication of the individuals within Early Intervention. I can’t sing their praises enough.”
